ABOUT
J Camden is an Oakland-based recording and touring artist. They are a long-time teacher with School of Song and release music with Fountain Inc. record label. Their music embraces the raw guitar-driven sound of rock and roll pioneers like Link Wray and Sister Rosetta Tharpe, while maintaining the sensitive heart of an indie songwriter. Every one of their projects joyfully experiments with form, harmony, and sound. The music sounds like Chris Cohen, Deerhoof, and Chad VanGaalen.
